Scorers are responsible for keeping a pitch-by-pitch score of each game they score. Courses are held sporadically throughout the year via our association and accreditation via Queensland Baseball Scorers, so please follow the contact details below for more information.

What does the role involve?

Common responsibilities for Scorers include

• Keeping a pitch-by-pitch record of the game

• Answering scoring questions (in game) from umpires, Team Managers and Coaches

• Adjusting the score based on any direction from the umpire

• Being a part of a chat group (typically Messenger or WhatsApp) with other Scorers in your league
