Become a coach

Coaches are responsible for the game-day management of their team, and work closely with their Team Managers for league communication.

What does the role involve?

Common responsibilities for Coaches include

  • Being present at practice each week to support the development of the players in your team and the league overall.

  • Preparing the game day lineup - in both paper form and online via GameChanger.

  • Actively coaching your team during each game - by providing constructive feedback and making position changes.

  • Resolving any umpiring disputes directly with the umpire (and without any other player involvement).

  • Sharing issues with your Team Manager - for them to escalate with the league General Manager.

  • Being a part of a chat group (typically Messenger or WhatsApp) with other Coaches in your league.
