The North Shore Champions Plate League is the Sunshine Coast's one and only social baseball league for players of all skill & experience levels from 15 to 105 years of age.
Registrations for the Spring 2021 Season are now open via the Sunshine Coast Baseball Registration Portal.
Founded in 2018 with the Sharks and the Marlins, there is traditionally a great mix of those that are brand new to the game of baseball, those that started playing ball young and never stopped, players returning to the diamond, softballers looking for a summer sport, and everyone in between.
The North Shore Champions Plate League is focused on fun and friendship and has grown from the two founding teams in 2018 to five teams competing in our most recent Summer 2021 season.
All games and training for the Champions Plate occur on the diamonds at the North Shore Multisports Complex in Mudjimba with an emphasis on providing a safe and supportive environment for all.

SPRING 2021 KEY DATES
Saturday 18 September - 9am to 12 noon : Spring 2021 Come & Try Day
Saturday 25 September - 10am to 12 noon: 2021 Spring Training Day
Saturday 2 October - 10am onwards* : Spring 2021 Opening Day
*game times for opening day will be confirmed based on team entry numbers.
SPRING 2021 SEASON TRAINING
Wednesday evening is the official training day during the Spring season from 5:30pm - 7pm. Training will commence later this month and additional training nights will be scheduled based on demand.
SPRING 2021 NORTH SHORE CHAMPIONS PLATE MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
The Sunshine Coast Baseball Association offer two membership levels for over 18s:
North Shore Seniors - Spring 2021 Membership - $250
North Shore Seniors - 12 Month 2021/22 Membership - $370
Both include the game fees for the 10 Week Spring 2021 North Shore Champions Plate League season, as well as a playing top and cap for new members
The 12 month option provides additional Baseball Australia membership for the entire 21/22 season including insurance for any and all sanctioned baseball tournaments and events in Australia including Greater Brisbane League (GBL), the North Shore Summer 2022 Champions Plate League and Masters events and games from 1 Sep 2021 to 31 Aug 2022 including the Lismore Masters and Gold Coast Masters events. Please note that additional team and/or league fees will apply, but purchasing an annual BA membership now will reduce your signup costs for those events.
