The Inaugural Queen's Birthday Invitational

We just couldn’t wait for the Spring Season to start so we’ve put together the Inaugural Queen’s Birthday Invitational! This is going to be a day of baseball with something for everyone!

Saturday October 1st from 8:30am

To kick the day off, we’re putting on a ZOOPA DOOPA ‘ZOOKA’ CHALLENGE for our Junior Members.

To celebrate the acquisition of our highly-anticipated pitching machine, we’re holding a tournament to let our 8 to 14 year olds have a go at the plate.

• A gold coin donation will get each registered participant three goes at the Zooka.

• See how far you can hit to earn points!

• Signed Brisbane Bandits merch from Australian representative Mitch Nilsson up for grabs for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd!

Participants register at 8:30am for an 8:45am start.

This is going to be a staggered event as not everyone can have a turn on the Zooka at the same time - so our coaches will have other activities running whilst the parents can enjoy the morning.

THIS EVENT IS FOR REGISTERED SUNSHINE COAST BASEBALL NORTH SHORE DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE CHILDREN ONLY!

After the Zooka Challenge, at 11am we’ll be conducting a pitching mound opening ceremony where we’ve got some very important people to thank! Stick around for this exciting moment in our association’s history.

Following on from the ceremony, in another Sunshine Coast Baseball Association first, our Sunshine Coast Riptides Masters representative players will be taking on the ‘Wade Family All-Stars’ in a glorious showcase of our senior talent - this is not to be missed!
